What information does Charm collect?

Charm keeps things minimal: a phone number, a name, an optional profile photo, and the photos your teen sends. We don't sell data, and there are no ads.

What we store and why

The phone number is the account — it's how your teen signs in, and how friends who already have the number saved can find them. It's never shown to anyone in the app. The name and profile photo are visible only to accepted friends, so friends know who a photo came from.

Photos and their comments are stored so they can be delivered to friends' watches and appear in history. They're visible to the friends chosen when the photo was sent, and to no one else. Nothing about what your teen photographs or who they talk to is used for advertising or recommendations — Charm has neither.

Deleting it

Deleting a sent photo removes it for everyone who received it, watch faces included. Deleting the account — Profile → Delete account — removes the account, its photos and its friendships right away, with no waiting period.
